In the fi rst post-war period the historical departments of Kabardian Pedagogical Institute faced the new diffi culties by the impact of ideological tenets of post-war period. Moreover, the role of the ideological base in patriotic education of youth was assigned to historical science. As a result, this circumstance became the reason for strict administration from party bodies the content of scientific researches and taught disciplines.
The attraction of wide range of sources allowed to study peculiarities of scientific and educational process on historical branch of Kabardian pedagogical institute in conditions of ideological campaigns of post-war Stalinism. Thus, historians of Kabardian State Pedagogical Institute were completely deprived of an opportunity to approach creatively scientifi c educational process and some teachers became the victims of political repressions.
