The Contribution of Yuri A. Zhdanov in the Formation of the Russian Regional Centres of Science, Education and Culture (on the Example of the Republic of Dagestan)

The article is devoted to Yu.A. Zhdanov – an outstanding scientist, researcher, organizer of the North Caucasus Research Center of Higher Education, his contribution to the formation of the Russian regional centers of science. Yury Andreevich Zhdanov always respectfully spoke of Dagestan and saw the prospects for development. He paid special attention to the development of science
in the republic, as well as to the scientific community of collectives of the North Caucasus Scientific Center and the Dagestan branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences. They proposed the tendency of unity of science and education, which gave impetus to the improvement of the efficiency of the educational process, the introduction of the results of modern scientific research into the educational process, which was the basis for creating an innovative educational system.
