On the History of Relations Dagestan and Chechen Relations (from Antiquity to the 15th Century)
It is shown that in the scientifi c literature, ancient and early medieval connection of Chechnya and Dagestan peoples are not subjected to systematic study. Summarizing the archaeological, linguistic, folklore and written sources
the author proves the continuity of ethno-cultural development of the ancestors of the peoples of Chechnya and Dagestan since Kayakent-horochaevskoy culture (the middle of the II millennium BC). Deepening relationships associated with the
fi rst nations – Urartu, Caucasian Albania, and later with the formation of ethno-political associations Nakh (Durdzuketiya) and other peoples of the Caucasus (Serir, Djidan, Khazars, Alanya). An important role in the development of relations
of the peoples of Dagestan and Chechnya played trade routes, including the Silk Road and the medieval towns of the Caucasus. The development of political relations between peoples of the Caucasus determined constant invasions of
Turkic-speaking invaders – the Huns, Bulgars, and others. Consolidation of the peoples of Dagestan and Chechnya has strengthened as part of the Khazar Khanate and preserved during the Mongol invasion of Timur and hiking. In the course of the interaction and mutual infl uence were fi xed bases of culture of modern peoples of Dagestan and Chechnya.
