The article discusses the problem of organizing training aviation technicians and mechanics for the Air Force Red Army and Navy during World War II. The questions of acquisition of military educational institutions, the volume of training, the content of the educational process, the state of educational work, and opened the shortcomings and mistakes, explains their causes.
