Genre Features of Entertaining Television by an Example of TV Programs of Holding Company “STS Media”

The article is devoted to entertaining commercial TV channel and its genre peculiarity. The author analyses genres of entertaining television on the example of media holding company “STS Media”. He comes to conclusion that “STS Media” is a modern, dynamical TV channel, the universal entertaining channel with the youth audience which is dominant capable to create positive mood. On STS channel all possible genres of tele-entertainment are represented which answers crucial world modern tendencies.
