Analysis of possibilities of chemical laser application for micrometeor particle and technogen chocking protection of an orbital station
The possibilities of pulsed and continuous HF-laser application for outer space cleaning in immediate proximity to an orbital station are considered. The existing models of chemical lasers can be used in the laser protection system, providing location and annihilation of cosmic garbage particles, which are of great danger. The advantages of average IR chemical lasers in comparison with short wave electron pumped lasers are shown. The possibility of the laser location with power ~30kW on board the spaceship of "Progress"-type is demonstrated.
