A. S. Pushkin as for-runner of the dialogue between Russian and Caucasian cultures

The numerous facts show that A. S. Pushkin initiated traditions and principles of dialogic relations between Russian and Caucasian cultures, which remained productive for almost two centuries. But these traditions were undermined in the nineties of the 20th century under the influence of the cultural and political separatism. The author defines the situation today as the crisis of the dialogue, as mutual alienation, which may be overcome only in the context of the successful development of Russia in the future.
