Tradition as a Notion: Aspects of the Meaning

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Tradition as a Notion: Aspects of the Meaning

The paper deals with socio-philosophical connotations of the notion of tradition, analyzes the main trends of its interpretation and directs the ways to its further comprehension in the context of ontology of time and sacral hermeneutics. The author is of the opinion that the study of the phenomenon of tradition is to touch upon ontological and anthroposocial factors underlying the stereotypy of social behaviour, in particular the frequency-resonance principle of setting the pace for social time.
