In article the history of development of the arms of city Rostov-on-Don from the first image of 1811 about this day (including distortions) is detailed stated. The emblems and colours of the Rostov arms, its structure are analysed. The author's reconstruction of the arms Rostov-on-Don on a sample of 1904 is offered, its for the first time complete and correct heraldic description (blazon) is given.
